Q: What is the little cord at the end of the harness for? Is it strong?

The cord at the back of the harness allows you to make slight adjustments to the length of the attachment point. It is particularly useful when two dogs of different sizes are harnessed side by side: it can be shortened or lengthened to balance their positions and place their heads at the same level. When properly tied and tightened, it is very strong and generally lasts for several years. However, it should be replaced as soon as it shows visible signs of wear, fraying, or damage.

Le Polar Evo est équipé d’un réglage de la longueur du dos, qui permet d’adapter plus précisément le harnais à la morphologie du chien. C’est le modèle que nous recommandons à la majorité des utilisateurs lorsque le budget le permet.Le Polar Quest est plus léger et sans réglage de longueur de dos. Sa conception simple est particulièrement adaptée aux mushers et aux utilisateurs recherchant un harnais léger et sans élément de réglage à l’arrière. Sur le Polar Evo, une ligne de trait de traineau peut en effet, dans certaines configurations, venir momentanément s’accrocher au niveau du réglage dorsal.
