How to put an Inlandsis harness on your dog?
https://youtu.be/SItSlNNJI2g
1- Fold the harness so you can put it on with one hand, allowing you to hold your dog with the other if needed
2- If possible, have your dog sit. Position yourself behind him so that the middle of his body is between your legs, then pass the neck of the harness over your dog's head
3- Pass the neck of the harness under the collar, then make sure to clear the fur around the neck of the harness so it fits correctly
4- Pull the harness towards the withers to loosen the straps as much as possible to facilitate passing the paws
5- Bend down to take his left paw just above the foot and simultaneously lower the harness strap to pass the foot through. Repeat on the right side. If you always act the same way, your dog should give the paws himself and in the correct order after a few weeks.
For Storm and Blizzard Beast V2 harnesses, as the shape is very encompassing, make sure to bend your dog's leg well and hold it against his body to pass it through the harness.
6- Pull the harness under the rib cage. For dogs with long and/or dense fur, it's necessary to clear the fur well between the front legs and under the rib cage so the harness fits correctly
7- Pull strongly on the cord at the back of the harness so it sets in place. All straps should be tight. It's done!
As a bonus, Rémy Coste shows us how he puts on and takes off a harness from our performance range (Blizzard Beast, Storm) for his racing dogs.
