How to Adjust Your Inlandsis AIRCROSS Harness
How to Easily Adjust Your Inlandsis Aircross Canicross Harness?
Our Aircross canicross harness is particularly ergonomic. Take the time to adjust it properly so you won't feel it on your canicross outings!
Key points to properly adjust your canicross harness:
- The webbing belt should be positioned above the hips.
- The padded belt should be positioned at the level of the buttocks, just below the iliac crests.
- Do not tighten the under-strap too much for better freedom of movement.
- Refine your adjustments during your first outings if needed.
- Once your adjustments are comfortable for you, cut the excess strap leaving a margin of about 10 cm.
Our Aircross harness is also suitable for cani-hiking and skijoring with 1 or 2 dogs.

Initial Setup and Step-by-Step Adjustment of Your Aircross Canicross Harness
For optimal adjustment of your Aircross harness, we recommend wearing the clothes you use during your activity.
1- Lay the harness on the ground and place your feet inside.
2- Pull up the harness and adjust the belt so that it is positioned on your hips about 5 to 10 cm below the iliac crests. Some users prefer to position the belt at the waist slightly above the iliac crests.
3- Attach the harness via a leash to a fixed object at a height equal to that of your dog to simulate the harness's traction position.
4- Adjust the V-straps at the back of the harness so that the upper limit of the rear support is positioned in the middle of your buttocks. The support should feel optimal to you. Note that it is more practical to rotate the harness on you to adjust the V-straps.
This adjustment should be refined during the first outings based on your sensations.
5- Attach the under-strap around your thighs and adjust them. A fairly loose fit gives the best results for most users.
This adjustment should be refined during the first outings based on your sensations.
6- After around ten outings and when you are satisfied with the adjustments, cut the excess under-straps. Be sure to leave a margin of about 10 cm. Burn the ends to prevent fraying.
